ELEVEN-DAY KITCHEN CELEBRATION 

For eleven days in July, the ifa Gallery will be transformed into a kitchen - a meeting place where recipes, dishes and stories are exchanged. The program focuses on cooking evenings, where food is prepared, eaten and celebrated together. We are interested in the movements of dishes, spices and stories. The cooking evenings revolve around three ingredients that can be found in numerous recipes around the world: Rice, potatoes and dumplings.
What is the recipe for the best rice pan? How do you make a special potato salad? Do you urgently need to cook your grandparents' dumpling recipe again?
The program is looking for individuals, groups, initiatives or associations who would like to share a recipe with one of the three ingredients rice, potatoes or dumplings of any kind (e.g. ravioli, Maultaschen, samosas, dumplings etc.) and prepare it together with the guests. In addition to the preparation of the dish, stories, tales, music and other contributions are also welcome.

Who wants to help to create one of our evenings in this way? Then please an e-mail until 10 May to homecooking(at)ifa.de with the following details:  

• a short description of yourself (1-3 sentences) 
• Which dish should be prepared together with the other guests?  
• Availability in the period from July 1 - 11, 2024?

Deadline: Friday 10 May 2024  

A fee will be paid and there is a budget for purchasing ingredients. 

On Wednesday 15 May at 19:00 there will be a preparatory meeting with all participants at the ifa Gallery.
