What spaces encourage emotional interaction, social cohesion and inspiration? How can we transform our current needs into feelings of dedication, empathy and curiosity? And what places are needed to stimulate creativity and connection? These are the questions that Klara Charlotte Zeitz, poet and visual artist, asks in the exhibition project WRITING ON THE EDGE - Versus. Utopia
WRITING ON THE EDGE is a journey from personal experience to collective transformation, traversing the space between inspiration and memory, desire and reality, unity and solitude. The goal is to create an environment that encourages communication, connection, and personal and collective growth. Versus, one of the exhibition's subtitles, means furrow in Latin, but also poetic verse and movement and symbolizes the connection between poetry, the body and the earth as a womb in which to sow rebirths. Its counterpart, Utopia, is the challenging end point the project tries to achieve: a utopian union that, through poetry, can influence social change. For this work Klara Charlotte Zeitz was inspired by Gaston Bachelard's reflections on space as a source of poetic inspiration. Words, lights, water and sounds create a multisensory collage that invites reflection and action, stimulating creativity and change. Also included within the installation is a neon sign that reads “We are Tide,” a slogan that has been displayed in demonstrations against gender violence in recent years. A tribute to the italian poet and human rights activist Marta Gianello Guida, who passed away prematurely.

Collaborating with writers, artists and thinkers, the project seeks to sculpt immersive poetic landscapes that probe the depths of linguistic expression. The exhibition invites participants and listeners to cross the thresholds of meaning, confronting language in its most transformative forms.
Through writing and music, WRITING ON THE EDGE creates a tactile space with changing guests, an experience of emotional participation open to all, to stimulate minds and senses and experience a hypothesis of authentic connection.
Klara Charlotte Zeitz places a text in the room as a starting point in order to write a new one together with the visitors during the month of the exhibition.
